Firefighters climb the equivalent of Everest for CHAS!

Great little bit of news this (I got it from CHAS's facebook page)
Eight trainee firefighters recently raised £617.50 for CHAS in a sponsored ladder climb at the Fire Services Training College in Gullane, East Lothian. The soon-to-be Firemen, otherwise known as ‘Charlie Squad’ climbed the height equivalent of Everest between them using the Fire Service ladders and drill towers at the college. Although it was exhausting work the students were delighted to raise money for CHAS and very much enjoyed the challenge. Charlie Squad isn’t the first squad to help CHAS as students are given the opportunity to raise money for charity every year. Since 1994 CHAS has received over £16,000 from their fantastic fundraising efforts. (Well done Guys great work)
Thank you so much to Stuart Baillie, Jonathan Brooks, Fraser Grant, Ryan Lookess, Keith White, Scott Hills, James Simpson and Christopher Forrest of Charlie Squad, best of luck in your future careers! Dare I use a saying from a mountaineer friends of mine, Keep Climbing(& Stay Safe!)
